Reading to adults has a fantastic impact on children’s confidence with reading and really makes a difference to their attainment across the curriculum. At Ravenscroft, we welcome parents and carers who kindly volunteer to give their time to listen to pupils read in school. The children look forward to reading with them, discussing texts and sharing the pleasure of books. If you would like to volunteer to listen to children read, please call into the school office.
